CHEVROLET

MO’NE DAVIS –

'I THROW

LIKE A GIRL'

13-year-old Mo’ne Davis was the first female player to ever pitch a shutout in the Little League World Series. Spike Lee reveals how Mo’ne’s determination, her passion for sports and the support of a loving family and dedicated coaches, makes her a role model for every girl with the drive to succeed.

This opportunity to celebrate both Mo’ne and the enduring connection between Chevrolet and baseball, resulted in a short documentary, an entry on Chevrolet’s culture page and a :60 commercial that aired during the first game of the World Series.

Mo’ne made a huge impact with close to a million YouTube views, more than 26 million media impressions and with key influencers like Russ Simmons, Hollie Robinson Peete, and Reggie Miller, engaging in conversation and spreading the word to their 5 million followers.

This year we won 2 Clio Sports Awards for this documentary.
