New Orleans had the highest rate of violent crime of any city in the country when we partnered with Mayor Landrieu and took on the challenge of developing a campaign that would reach the city’s diverse residents and to help save lives.
We created television, online content videos, outdoor and print that showed everyone in the city could play their part to “Flip the Script” and change news headlines from negative to positive. A website was designed to be a hub for the many resources available to people in the city. Within a year of launching the campaign, crime had dropped 20% to the lowest rate New Orleans had seen in four decades and it continues to drop yearly.
